Langford Evangelical Church

Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to feel welcome at Langford Chapel and aim to be accessible for as many people as possible.
Parking
Parking is possible on the road outside the Chapel. As Blackmoor is a narrow road please park carefully and with due consideration for other road users and our neighbours.
Access
There is a very slight incline from the road to main doors of the Chapel where there is a shallow step. A portable ramp is provided for anyone who may need to use it.
All the main areas of the Chapel building are level and have step free access.
The chairs in the Chapel can be easily moved to provide space for wheelchairs and mobility aids and seats with arms are available for those who might need them.
Induction loop
A hearing loop system is installed, linked to the PA system, that covers the main Chapel building. This is available at all services where microphones are in use. Please adjust your hearing device to the appropriate setting
Disabled toilet
There is a toilet with disabled facilities located in the passageway between the rear hall and the kitchen.
Large print hymn books
Large print hymn books are available for use in the services.
However, many of the hymns are projected onto a screen at the front of the church using a large font type.
Communion
Non-alcoholic wine is used for communion.
